For his fine artworks, Romeo paints using Old Masters painting techniques on a digital screen— brushstroke by brushstroke, hair strand by hair strand, grass blade by grass blade, feather by feather, wrinkle by wrinkle. With every mark made, he builds and shapes the details and emotions to bring the painting to life.
Romeo’s process begins with a rough pencil sketch, followed by the laying down of the base colour, to sculpting features, adding shadows and highlights, to working on the eyes, facial muscles and mood.
