Romeo Varga is in Art Leadership roles for various video game projects in North America including Principal 2D Artist, 2D Lead & Art Director. This indie game project Nocturne Manor has won multiple awards including “Emotional Masterpiece”.
Romeo’s digital matte painting recently won the Gold Award in the ‘Black and White XI International Juried Art Exhibition’ in Arizona, USA. The contest had finalists from 4 continents and 12 countries including UK, France, Italy, China and Canada (2023).
Romeo was commissioned to create a concept visual for Westfield London’s Barbie movie premiere depicting cinema-goers dressed in all pink (2023).These two portrait paintings were selected as Finalists in the ‘9th Annual Figures and Faces’ Juried International Art Competition Exhibition in New Mexico, USA. Artists from four continents and 14 countries including UK, Canada, Italy, Germany and China submitted their work for consideration (2023).
